Temporary Dentures
Dr. Rosenberg can provide patients with temporary dentures while they are undergoing a cosmetic dentistry procedure to replace a missing tooth, such as dental implants or a dental bridge. The temporary denture is secured in place with a metal wire that works like a retainer and can be taken in and out whenever you like. Keep in mind that a temporary denture is only meant to be worn for a few months and will need to be replaced.
Partial Dentures
This is a good solution for patients looking to replace a few missing teeth. The dentures are held in place by a plastic base that matches the color of your gums. A metal framework is typically created in order to secure the base and prevent it from falling out. Candidates for partial dentures are those who have natural teeth still in place.
Complete Dentures
Ideal candidates for complete dentures are those whose teeth are all missing. We can provide tooth extraction to remove any remaining teeth that might need to be eliminated before the procedure. Complete, removable dentures are comfortable to wear as they’re made to fit your mouth. Although the process takes longer than any other cosmetic procedure, it’s worth the wait!
Once cleared for the procedure, we’ll take a mold of your teeth and gums. The impressions are used in the lab to make your dentures.
